OROPÉNDOLA

This project focused on the art of movement. It has remained active in the community of Nosara, Guanacaste, Costa Rica for two consecutive years thanks to the support of the Puntos de Cultura 2021 and Puntos de Cultura 2022 program of the Ministry of Culture and Youth of Costa Rica.

During this time a dance group has been formed that utilizes various disciplines.

It has benefited more than 30 local adolescents.

The goal is to maintain a dance team that allows teens to experience a sense of achievement through local and national performances. 

Disciplines taught weekly:
-Aerial dances in lyre and fabric.
-Body strengthening and acrogimnasia.
-Contemporary dance.
-Social-emotional workshop.
